About the wine

Most of the vines were planted around the Pazo Piñeiro in the 1970s, although the property's first single estate wine was only made in 1996, when the exceptional terroir in there was fully identified.

The property has yields of 4,500 Kg per hectare. Granite deep soils, with a light acidity and excellent drainage.

Grapes are taken to the winery and selected bunch by bunch on a sorting table. After a short maceration, comes a light crush. Fermentation at controlled temperatures takes place in stainless steel tanks. Ageing takes place on its lees for six months. Then follows cold stabilization and pour off.

Tasting

Light yellow and green reflections. Refined nose, blending notes of green apple and ripe citrus fruits, mild spices and flowers. Fresh on the palate, vibrant. Fruit is focused and crunchy. Closes with elegant bitterness.

An honest albariño that will be perfect companion for tuna or white meat with creamy sauce.
